This business was born out of my life-long passion for textiles, especially handwoven and antique, and for the textiles that I have found here in France and the stories they tell. As my work grew and I began to find my way through the brocantes and meet and befriend dealers, my love for the eyecatching, beautiful and sometimes strange things I come across has expanded my collections into decorative homewares and curios.

Many of the pieces I sell are decades old, and most are far older. They exhibit the wear and tear you would expect from antique pieces. Often their age and use has contributed to their beauty. I extensively photograph and describe each piece. If in doubt about the suitability of something, please ask, I’m always happy to discuss.

Because of the way I work, you will need to communicate with me in order to purchase anything. I sell both here and on Instagram, and for many clients I hold paid-for orders for up to three months, to allow grouped postage which can bring the shipping costs down considerably. Every single item I sell is unique, and postage cannot be automatically calculated so you will need to contact me to discuss.
I use La Poste for smaller items, and for larger and more valuable parcels, depending on destination, I use a freight service. I strongly recommend insurance always, as anything uninsured cannot be followed-up if it goes missing.
AMERICAN CUSTOMERS : due to recent tariff changes affecting many French small businesses, I am currently only able to post small, uninsured items to the US. Large and more valuable items will need to go via courier, and will require a quote. Courier cost is competitive with La Poste at around the 5-7kg mark. For this reason I am encouraging all American customers to take advantage of my offer to hold purchases for several months, and can extend the three-month hold on request. If you have friends or family who are also interested in my work, I am happy to group postage for two or more people providing there is one clear contact person and address. I am also able to post to a pre-arranged address outside of America if you are travelling or if someone from overseas is coming to visit you
PICKUP FROM MY HOME IN INDRE, FRANCE, IS AVAILABLE BY PRE-ARRANGEMENT

Refunds will be offered in limited circumstances if the item does not match description, but not on marked sale items and not for a change of mind. All returned items must be sent, at customer cost, by insured mail to my return address. Any customs charges incurred on the returned item from French customs will be deducted from the refund amount. All returned items must reach me in the same state they left my hands - clean, unused, and ironed. To request a refund, please email me. Please be aware I keep images of everything that I sell.
