Fine cotton nightdress c.1910 with handembroidered trim

This long nightdress is made from a very beautiful quality fine cotton with delicate pleats at the front and handembroidered trim at the neck, front and sleeves. It has a little initial MC at one side of the waist, and has additonal fancy faggotting stitching at the front and sleeves. It is in very good condition- there is minimal wear to the edges of the embroidered trim - one of the cuff ruffles has a small damage, and there are tiny marks near the neckline and the embroidered initials (please see photos), but it is otherwise excellent. It measures 50cm from armpit to armpit lying flat, and is 129cm long.
