Unusual vintage mother of pearl buttons, unused

This set of buttons is made from thick, lustrous dark Atlantic mother of pearl that has been handcarved and decorated. This is a display card perhaps from a button wholesaler, and judging by the decoration on the buttons, they could be anything from late 30’s to mid-50’s. The buttons are pretty large, the largest ones are 4cm in diameter and the smallest is 2cm. They have never been used and are in excellent condition - they could do with a gentle wash and a light oil to restore them to top condition.
