Pair of 1930’s stencilled espresso cups and saucers, Luneville for Galeries Lafayette

A lovely little pair of stencilled Luneville espresso cups with their matching saucers which were created expressly for Galeries Lafayette and are so Art Deco I could cry. These remind me very much of the influences that Eastern European decoration had on French imagery at this time, they are truly gorgeous. In almost perfect aged condition, one of them has a small chip on the rim of the saucer, and they are around 90 years old so there is some crazing and discolouration but they are still entirely useable, or simply entirely admirable.
