Pair of unbleached linen pillowcases with drawn-thread borders

This austere pair of pillowcases has been made out of medium-fine unbleached linen, and finished with mitred edges and some beautiful and skilled drawn-thread work borders, which would have taken several days for a skilled artisan to create. They do up at the back with mother-of-pearl buttons. These are in very good condition, there are a couple of tiny marks which are so faint they are barely registering in photos - please see the last photo for an example. The insert size of these is 67cm square.
