Very fine handwoven linen tablecloth initials PP
A truly beautiful piece of cloth, a 19th century tablecloth made from handwoven pure fine linen with thick bands of stripes at either end made by placing thicker strands of thread into the warp as the piece was woven. This has a pair of handembroidered initials PP in the centre. In very good condition for such a fine piece of very old cloth - there is just one small moth-hole which I have pictured. Machine-stitched hems. This measures 174cm wide and is 243cm long.
