This is such a delicate piece - a nightdress made of the finest linen, completely handstitched, with a beautiful embroidered yoke and fragile lace trim. Look through the pictures, this is so perfectly and precisely made. It does up with two tiny chunky mother-of-pearl buttons - one of them is hidden under a placket, the other is right at the very top of the closure. This is in almost perfect condition and has been very little worn. Two small issues - a tiny section of the delicate lace edging has come unstitched, and a couple of the stitches have loosened under one armpit. These will take a couple of minutes to fix. Otherwise it is perfect, no marks, stains, or physical damage. It measures 50cm from armpit to armpit lying flat across the front of the chest and is 112cm long.
