A pair of unused triangular beaded dress decorations, early 20th century
Beautifully shaped and beaded in tiny clear and pearlized glass buttons backed onto a cotton batiste backing, these come from around 1920-30 and are in perfect condition. They are a matching pair and were probably for use on shoulders or lapels for an opera coat or similar - the clear glass beads would have been especially beautiful at night under artificial light or candlelight. They measure 14cm long at the longest edge.
