Beautiful deep cornflower blue vintage cotton flannelette workshirt fabric
This is a large piece of vintage cotton flannelette - brushed on one side, flat-woven on the other - in a deep bright cornflower blue. This is probably 1950’s, it could be earlier but will not be later. It was manufactured specifically the be made into workshirts for winter wear - the brushed side would have been worn on the inside to keep the wearer toasty. It has a very fine pinstripe pattern, and is absolutely beautiful. It is in near perfect condition, there is a tiny bit of storage mark where it has been stored folded, but it is so faint that the camera won’t pick it up and you’d have to be looking hard to spot it. It may wash out - I have not washed this because it is deadstock that has been properly stored for at least 70 years. It measures 79cm wide by 473cm long,
