A pure linen sheet made from two panels of heavier textured machine-milled linen that have been stitched together by hand, and then hand-hemmed at both ends. This is a beautiful sheet, very plain and austere but the linen is crumply and drapey and the sheet is like a hug. It’s been very lightly used which has softened it slightly, but there is no wear and no damage. It’s from the first half of the 20th century. It measures 231×324cm.
