This is a fabulous sheet. It probably dates from around 1930-40. It has been made from two panels of unbleached linen which have been handstitched together to make a larger sheet. The linen is machine-milled, a lovely café-au-lait colour, and is gorgeous quality, it is thick and dense but at the same time soft and smooth and lush. This has been barely used and is in perfect condition. As always, I have soaked and washed it. It measures 232×288cm.
