An unworn nightdress, found with the tracing chalk still slightly visible behind the hand-embroidered initials. This is made from very beautiful fine linen, and is mostly handstitched. The scallop borders around the drawstring neckline and the sleeves are all hand-done. Look at the minute stitching in the two side gussets. This is in perfect condition. It measures 60cm from armpit to armpit lying flat and is 104cm long.
