A beautiful fine densely-woven machine-milled pure linen sheet with two handmade drawn-thread borders, one very delicate and one superbly-executed larger border where the threads have been bound together with button-stitching. This was found in an unused state with the sizing still in. I have soaked and washed it. The linen is unbleached and a very beautiful pale slightly beige cream colour. It measures 230×325cm.
