Very fine pure linen lacemaker's thread - pale aqua
Found in an unused condition, still intact in their original wrapping paper, these hanks of fine linen thread come from the same source as the beautiful bobbin lace pieces up elsewhere on this site. They are from the collection of a very elderly lady, who had been collecting for decades, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on part of her extensive collection of laces and threads, and I doubt I will ever see the like again.
Coloured lacemaking thread is also, in my experience, very rare, this is the first time I've found any at all, let alone this quantity in this condition.
Each of these hanks is 60 metres long. They have been dyed a pale aqua colour. They have their original labels. This thread is perfect for stitching work - it is very fine but very strong. The price is per hank.
