1930's tin toy grocer's scale
This came from my ex-landlady’s attic in a huge stately house in the Loire Valley, and dates from her childhood in the 1930’s. It’s a little folded tin scale, standing about 23cm high, with a card face and a tin pointer. This is for decoration only, please don’t give it to a child to play with as with any antique or vintage toy, although my landlady is now 90 and is still going strong so clearly she survived the toys of her youth!
