From the 1980’s, this wonderful garment is made from a herringbone twill-woven cotton fabric, and was manufactured for use by commercial painters. It has large front pockets as well as both a slim side pocket, and two zip-up breast pockets. It has an attached belt in the same fabric, and does up at the front with a zip. All the zips are metal. This was never used, and is in almost perfect condition except for a small rust stain, almost certainly from the belt buckle. Totally wearable. Measurements are as follows - all are taken lying flat so doubt for around the body measurements:
From armpit to armpit across the front chest: 50cm
From shoulder seam to seam across the back of the neck: 45cm
From shoulder seam to sleeve cuff measured along the top of the sleeve: 60cm
At the narrowest point of the waist: 49cm
From centre crotch to leg cuff measured along inside of leg: 75cm
From the top of the neck (where the zip does up to) to centre crotch: 73cm
Be aware that this was originally made to wear over other clothes.
