This is a medium-weight densely-woven pure plain unbleached linen made from two panels of textile which have been handstitched in the centre. It has handstitched hems and a little cross-stitched pair of initials in one corner ‘PR’, which looks to have been added later after the original initials were unpicked.
This is a beautiful and good-sized pure linen sheet. It has been used but there is a great deal of life left in it and it is very-little worn. It has two tiny holes, both of which I have pictured (the second photo got a bit steamy from the iron hence why it looks washed-out)- it is otherwise perfect.
This measures 233×336cm.
