This is a great sheet if you are looking for a durable, low-care sheet that has the look of a very fancy linen number. This is linen and cotton métis - it combines some of the drape and feel of linen with the warmth of cotton, and the two fibres together make a textile which is more hardwearing than cotton and less high-maintenance than linen. The embroidery is entirely hand-done and it is wonderful - a large central medallion with the initials ER, and then a deeply scalloped flounced border with a handmade drawn-thread detail. The lower hem is also hand-stitched. This is in excellent condition and has probably been very little used. It does have a couple of pale yellowish marks, but they are nowhere near the fancy border. I have tried to photograph one of them (the last photo). I have soaked and washed this sheet as I do with everything I sell. A very useable piece. It measures 210×309cm.
