19th century oil on canvas painting of a house, signed 'J. Cottin'

A naive oil on canvas painting of a white house in a clearing in the forest. This has a small damage on the left-hand-side but it is not very noticeable. Signed ‘J. Cottin’ on the bottom right hand side. Frameless. It measures 55cm wide by 38cm high.
