Piece of soft old vintage mattress ticking - broad blue stripes
This is the top third of a mattress cover, both sides. It is a beautiful fabric, old, soft, slightly worn but still strong, with beautiful visible repairs in places. Good for small projects. One side is torn in half but there is no loss. The seams are handstitched. There are some small rust stains and another faded small mark which I have pictured. It is a beautiful blue - this is from early in the 20th century. It measures approximately 113×93cm, times two because it is a sack.
