Late 19th or early 20th century handblown glass pharmacy bottles

€55.00

These bottles are handblown glass, and could date from anywhere up to about 1910, but are more likely to be late 19th century. They originally would have had ground glass stoppers, but these have parted ways. The lettering on each bottle is carefully and beautifully hand-painted - most later examples I have seen used printed labels which, though beautiful, are not quite as elegant. There are three here (and they are sold individually (the price marked is per bottle) so please indicate which one/s you would like when asking to purchase. They are labelled: ‘Extrait FL:Hydrastis’ / ‘Naphtol B’ / ‘Podophyllin’. The first one has a narrower neck than the second two. They are all approximately 19cm high.

Please click on the photos to open them up full-sized.
