As they say, 10/10 no notes…which is pretty rare in antique textile world. This is a beautiful fine linen tablecloth with raised weft stripes at either end, dating probably from the 1920’s or 30’s. The linen is very beautiful, dense but fine, with a lovely drape, and it has little hand-embroidered intials LRP in one corner. And as the title says, this is in perfect condition, no marks, no damage, probably very little used, or maybe it simply never left the armoire at all. It measures 174×210 cm, which makes it larger than many similar pieces.
