An amazing sheet, quite the largest I have ever found, made from superb quality fine pure white linen. The lace on the border is handmade bobbin lace in linen thread, and the initials are huge and very finely done by hand as well. This is in impeccable condition, absolutely astonishing for a sheet of this age. It must have been stored in an armoire its entire life, there is not a single mark or fault on it. Even the lace is in perfect condition. Handstitched lower hem. It is also the largest sheet I have ever found - I have found now three sheets in 9 years that are 250cm or larger but I have never found one this long. It measures 250cm wide and a whopping 390cm long. A stunner and I am unlikely to find another like this in a hurry.
