This is a linen and cotton métis damask hand-towel in a beautiful thick glossy fabric, with a rhythmic patterning of geometric waves and poppiesIt dates from somewhere between the 1930’s and early 50’s. It was found unused, and I have soaked and washed it. It is initalled ‘MS’ and has hook tapes at both top and bottom. It is in perfect condition, measuring 50×104cm.
