Almost a collector’s piece, this wide long apron is made from a beautiful blue pinstripe fabric that was much used from the 1920’s-50’s for domestic workwear and coveralls. This has been beautifully-made, with a shaped gathered wasitband that extends past the fabric before being completed with black woven tie-tape. This has never been used. The fabric still has the sizing in. It is in very good condition - there is a very faint yellowish storage mark which should come out in washing (I don’t like to wash deadstock clothing unless it really needs it), and there is also a mark where the colour has been bleached out by having something placed or splashed onto it (see the second-to-last photo). Otherwise it is excellent.
