A very good quality sheet made from unbleached pure linen, medium-fine weight, with handembroidered flowers and handwrapped ladder borders all picked out in pink thread. This is in almost perfect condition. There is a very small mark in the middle of one of the embroidered motifs, which I have photographed. This has been very little used and is physically perfect. There is a slight variation of tone across the sheet, this is usual with unbleached linen as each time it is washed it lightens slightly (this is how white linen was made, by continuously rewashing and sundrying it). This measures 233×315cm
