A simple but beautiful large kitchen cloth made from handwoven hemp with flecks of darker stalk-waste in the weave which gives a sort of chambray effect. This has raised weft stripes at either end - made by weaving in thicker threads at those points, and woven hook tapes at each end. It is in perfect condition and measures 65×108cm.
