This beautiful coat dates from probably the late 50’s to mid-60’s, and it is German rather than French. The fabric is a lovely soft thick cotton canvas, and the colour is a deep blue. It has quite a small collar, and there is a belt at the back. It looks amazing on. In very good condition, it has a couple of very small moth-holes, most noticeably one at the back (pictured) and it has quite a lot of visible stitched repairs to the button placket. Buttoned-up and lying flat it measures 63cm from armpit to armpit across the chest and is 89cm long.
