This jacket is probably from the late 70’s or 80’s, but has had a bit of a life. It has an unusual cut, a little like a cross between a donkey jacket and a bikers jacket. It has thick elastic at either side of the zip (about where the hips would be) and does up with a rugged metal zip. The zip is fully-functional but has lost its tab, you just need to add a fancy paperclip or similar. At some point, someone has removed the right breast pocket - or it’s been ripped off. It’s been repaired where the pocket was removed and also at both cuffs. The fabric is a good quality cotton canvas.
It measures 51cm from armpit to armpit lying flat, 60cm from shoulder seam to cuff along the top of the arm, 42cm from shoulder seam to seam across the back of the neck, and 45cm lying flat at the waist when it is zipped up - this last measurement has a little bit of give due to the elasticated sides. The elastic is still in excellent condition.
