A pair of pillowcases made from pure fine linen, circa 1930. These have handmade ladder borders and handembroidered intials, a B on one and a T on the other. The linen is superb quality. They do up at the back with mother of pearl buttons and are in perfect condition except for two marks which are just above the embroidered ‘B’ and can be clearly seen in the photos. They measure 55×59cm at the insert, the border with its mitres corners is 5cm wide.
