A wonderful and serviceable hemp sheet, quite long for one of these pieces, made from two handspun and relatively finely handwoven hemp panels that have been stitched by hand into a larger sheet. This has rolled and handstitched hems, and the initials BD in one corner. It is in perfect condition. It has been lightly used, and you can see that the underside is slightly darker than the top - over time and washing the orginal oatmeal colour of hemp bleaches out to a creamy white. This measures 196×256cm - about 30cm longer than these sheets often are.
