A complete dinner service set of twelve linen métis damask serviettes with a pattern of polkadots. Each serviette has a pair of appliqued embroidered initials in the centre ‘GL’ outlined with red stitching. These are excellent quality and are from around the 1930’s to early 50’s. They are hand-hemmed. They have been used and the red stitching outlining the initials is faded a little on some of the pieces, but they are still in very good condition. All bar one are without damage, the last one has some damage to one corner which I have photographed. They measure 76×85cm.
