Wonderful thick soft corduroy jodhpurs - 1950's
Made from a wide-wale thick high-quality corduroy in a rich chocolate colour, these are a pair of jodhpurs, probably mid-50’s. They do up at the front with black glass buttons and a large hook and eye, and have a cinch belt at the back. They were intended to be worn with braces, hence the buttons at the waist. They also have five buttons along each calf. These are really wonderful to wear in cold weather, plus they are super-stylish. In excellent condition - there is a small repair to what looks like a tear between the legs but otherwise perfect. They measure 42cm lying flat at the waistline, so 84cm around the waist, remembering that originally they were meant to be worn with braces.
