Very large piece of thick vintage cotton flannelette workshirt fabric
I believe this is probably from the late 40’s to early 50’s, it could be earlier but won’t be much later. It is a large piece of never-used heavy thick cotton brushed cotton flannelette, a bit like a robust pyjama fabric, and it was originally intended for making men’s winter workshirts. It is the ideal fabric for this, warm, soft, but tough. This is not a fabric I have ever seen a modern version of - modern cotton flannelette is flimsy useless stuff and most modern pyjamas are now not even pure cotton. Ugh. Go the real thing. This is a very large piece, it measures 79cm wide and 792cm long. It is in perfect unused condition.
